Swagman Upright Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Kia Rio- Video

Today on our 2013 KIA Rio we're going to be testing the Swagman Upright. This is a roof mounted frame clamp style bike rack. The part number on it is S64720. We've got our Yakima Control Tower roof rack system installed on the car, so we're going to begin to test it by just placing the bike rack right up onto the roof line and bring one of the U-bolts around the underside and then thread two wing nuts on it. Just run these down loosely or hand tight for now in case we need to make any adjustments to the rack once we get the other one installed. The second one we'll bring around. This is the opposite side of the carrier. more

Rhino Rack MountainTrail Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Kia Rio- Video

Today on our 2014 Kia Rio we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail. This is a fork mounted roof style bike rack. The Part Number on it is RBC035. We've got our Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the Kia, so we're going to begin the test fit by removing the black cover here on the head. We're going to take out the black rubber coated metal straps. These will be fit around the underside of our load bar. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Rio, we're going to be test fitting the Kuat TRIO. This is a roof-mounted, fork clamp style bike rack. The part number on this one in the black and chrome is 2R02. It's also available in a gray and orange. That part number is RU01. We begin our test fit. We'll place the rack right up onto; we've got the Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack system already installed here on the Kia. more

Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 Kia Rio- Video

Today on this 2013 Kia Rio, well be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof-mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02098.To begin our test fit well loosen up the joist of the carrier and set them on the crossbars of the roof system. Once you have made the bike carrier perpendicular to the crossbars, so here the joist around the crossbars and tighten with a wing nut.To load the bike, once the bike carrier is secure you can insert the skewer and undo the tray strap. Set the bike onto the bike carrier and slide the skewer through the forks. Tighten down the skewer, lock it into place and then secure with a tray strap at the rear of the carrier.That concludes todays test fit for the Yakima Forklift Root-mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02098 on this 2013 Kia Rio. . more
